Next What's new? Simple features the app lacks are essential to anyone who does graphic work. The distortion features in the app are pretty worthless imo. If I have a logo and need to add simple text I am unable to skew or italicize the text to fit image angles properly. There needs to be a angle or skew tab in there to angle the text slant in a positive or negative direction.

Nah, I dont have Photoshop. I used to have it on a PC a couple of years back, but since I bought a Mac I have been trying to buy Mac-centric software, and support the little software developers over the bigger guys. I'm not complaining about Pixelmator, I think its a nice piece of software with a great price, but I am a bit confused about the lack of an official manual to download.

Pixelmator is a rather new app, just like FCP X. I view them both in the same light. They both have undergone a lot of evolution, but have much more to go through. Fortunately, both development teams are releasing updates rather quickly. I remember looking for photo stitching apps in the App Store once and finding several. That's been some time ago, but it may be worth a look. Probably something really cheap out there. Also, Pixelmator is open to user feedback and feature requests.
